A real and totally encompassing look at your life would be difficult at best. To begin with, it is not easy for the individual to truly see their lives in a clear way. Who are friends, who are not, situations at work, at home, with family members – these are all seen with the eyes of the individual and colored with the feelings, prejudices and understandings of a lifetime. Small things take on an air of importance in a daily life when seen with the eyes of the individual.
To put things in perspective, it is wonderful to look through the eyes of the Creator. First, see the darkness of deep space and the lighted spirals of galaxies lit by spheres which are suns and the darker spheres which reflect this heavenly light. Then, focus on a particular small ball of fire which is our sun. Notice the sheer volume of power emanating from this life-giving star. Next, follow those rays to the several small orbs which cluster around that sun absorbing the light, and find the one using its energy to sustain life as it rotates in space.
On that small blue and green sphere revolving around the sun, notice the beautiful swirling clouds, bringers of rain and protection from the sun. Below that, see the mountains, tall in their beauty, full of trees and populated by all kinds of animals. See the lakes and rivers and oceans complete with their swimmers of the sea.
Then, focus of the cities, beautiful shining monuments created by humans and find the city or town you live in. See all the people who live there. Take the roofs off and look inside the factories, the offices, the schools, the courts, the stores. Find your home, your family, your friends. What are they doing?
Look at it all with the love of the Creator. Realize how fortunate you are to experience this life. Thank the Creator for your life and for the ability now to see with the eyes of the Creator. All is as it should be. The galaxies are spinning, the worlds are turning, the earth is alive and full of water, animals, plants and air. You are alive and the Creator looks on you with love. See with new eyes and be joyful.
