It is good to start at the beginning. In the beginning was the word and the word was love. Love as expressed in a sound was the beginning of our universe. The sound of love is so powerful that it created the universe, the one song.
And yet, this powerful love is found in even the tiniest heart, in every motion of the planets, in every ray of sunlight. Love is in every living thing. Indeed, it is what is alive in every living thing. Love is an energy that fuels everyone and everything. If it is alive, there is love fueling it.
Your spirit is also fueled by this extraordinary energy of love. It is the light behind your eyes, the bounce in your step, the glowing from within. We all recognize it in one another. The light comes from within the body through spirit. Our spirit is aligned with Spirit, and they meet in the physical body. This is what makes the body alive and moving; the spirit body is the real body.
The physical body is just a shell. It is as if you were driving a vehicle. A vehicle will not move unless someone gets in to drive it. And there is movement. The lights go on, the radio is working, and the tires are rolling faster and faster down the road. It is the same with the physical body. It is nothing without spirit. Spirit has the key and without it, the body is useless.
But Spirit can and does exist without the body just as a person exists without a vehicle. Once the vehicle has brought you to your destination, you get out and leave the vehicle. It is not alive. It does not think or sing or make plans while you are gone. It is simply a vehicle you use to get around. And when you are done with it, you leave it.
So, it is with the spirit and the body. The spirit is the part that sings, thinks and is alive. The body is simply a vehicle used to express the emotions, thoughts and actions of the spirit. And spirit is connected to Spirit. They meet in the body. When spirit is aligned to spirit, there is a wonderful sound, the sound of love, the sound of creation.
This is the sound of the beginning. The sound of a word and the word is love. The sound of Spirit connecting with spirit. It is possible to experience that connection, that great love, even now. Simply gather your spirit from within and ask for Spirit to join you. When that connection occurs, it is a great prayer, it is a great love poem, it is a wonderful union. There is none greater. It is the sound of the beginning of the universe. It is love.
