On the day you are born, you are small and helpless. There is no way for you to live without help and support. There is your mother and father for you to live with or sometimes, there are others to care for the child that is you. However you started your journey of life, you were not alone. To be alive and living in this world, you need the help and support of others. And you have had that whether it was from a few people or many.
Now, it is your turn to support others. Perhaps you have children and support them. This is wonderful; its how it should be. But there are others who need your support if you are able to give it. People living on the street are so very needy. They need the love of one good person and that could be you. Money is not as needed as a kind word and someone who cares about you. There is no substitute for that.
Of course, people do need the basics which can be helped by money, but also, they need someone to be there and believe in them. You can be that person for someone. Let your life unfold in ways that help and support others with love. Once you have opened your heart, you will have lots of love to give and there are many who need it, are waiting for it.
When you are ready to give, ask God for a sign or look for opportunities to help others. They will show up in your life and your heart will be ready. Give your time, your money if you have it, but most of all your love to those in need, those who cannot see the Light. Give, especially if you cannot see the Light very clearly, and the love you give will open your heart further and the Light will be shining brighter and brighter.
Do this for others. Do this for yourself. Giving is mysterious as when you give you also receive. Receive the love you are giving and heal your own self along with those you are supporting. You are the one to do this. It is something you can do. Let the love of the Creator come through you, healing yourself and others.
It is what you are here for. It is what you need. Let yourself give and you shall receive. It is a Sacred Law: whatever you give, you will receive. Give what you need and all will be in balance. Love is all you need.
