The truth is not so difficult to see if one is looking for it. It only hides when there is blockage or distortion. This happens when one is not open to the ideas of the self, that is the ideas of God. The ideas of God are very clear. There can be no mistaking them. If a person hides from these ideas, then there is a problem because the person can neither see the self or God in a clear light. This means distance from both which means separation, which means pain.
To avoid separation, it is important to see God and see oneself in the Light of God. This means to see oneself in a clear light, which shows the truth of one’s nature. Now if one has been separate from God, this could be hard to look at. But as one looks, the separation diminishes, and it becomes easier and more beautiful. It is as if a dark cloud is hiding the sun, the sun being God. You, yourself stand in the shadow, the darkness and can see nothing good about it.
However, the power of looking at the darkness diminishes the darkness until soon you are able to see the sun shining brightly upon you, as of course it always has. The sun never stops shining no matter how many clouds of darkness surround you. It is up to you to allow the sun in. It is up to you to look for the sun, to find the sun and then to bask in the glory of the sun.
Many men and women forget they are in shadow. They forget the sun is shining and live their lives in shadow. It is sad for us to see this as we are so close, God is so close, yet while they are in shadow, we are distant, so distant. We cannot break into the shadow of a person. They must break out. They must look up and see the sun once or twice in their lifetime, then there is hope.
Other people can help in this respect. People can help to show them the sun in their own lives, then many can believe there is sun for everyone. How could the sun not be for everyone? Would the sun stop shining because you are standing there? It is a physical impossibility. The sun must shine, the sun cannot, not shine. It is a sacred law; the sun must shine. The law cannot be broken.
We know there are people who cannot believe this. But they are not forgotten by us. They are watched over even more carefully, in hopes that a spark of sunlight may get through their dark clouds. We hope to see everyone standing in the sun. Perhaps we will see you there too.
