There is no right way or wrong way to love. Love simply is. When love is, there is power, force and great harmony. When love is, there is life and hope. When love is, all is well, even though it may not seem so on the surface. Love affects a deeper part of the life force and is not daunted by facts or figures. Love cuts through facts and makes figures beside the point.
Facts will still be true, but love covers it all like the sweet smell of buttercups on a hot day. The facts are still there, but the smell is so divine. It adds to the facts. It creates a new feeling around the facts. It alters the way we look at the facts. It alters how we feel when we look at the facts.
The facts do not change. It is our perception of them, of ourselves, that changes. Love can do this. In fact, love often rearranges our perceptions when we’re not looking to help us form a gentler kinder view of ourselves and the world, and we should let it.
To view the world with love is a gift, a true loving nature is a gift. For to love without reason or knowledge is to tap into the great universal energy of love available to all at any time. Yet we feel to love without reason is to love superficially. Somehow it doesn’t count unless there are reasons and facts supporting this love.
The truth is there is never a reason to love. Reason does not support love. Love supports love. Love is for love’s sake. No reason can follow that. To love is divine. To reason is to think. Thinking is not loving. Loving is not done in the mind. It is done with the heart and therefore is not always rational or reasonable.
Loving is a feeling, a strong energy of truth that bypasses reason, although it is always truthful and kind. It does not rest on thought or reason but instead creates song and poetry to express itself. Feel the love you have expressed. Remember its song and sing again. The love you have is the love you have given away.
